how to make a shed base from pallets

I acquired the pallets after my church's garage sale. they've been sitting in my yard for weeks waiting for me to make something great. i need shelves, outdoor bench. Allways build some kind of base in to the ground. if its too much work, dig six holes three either side of shed 500mm square 600mm deep - go 800mm if you don't mind. We are thinking of building a shed from scratch on a concrete or paving slab base but was wondering if it would be a good idea to get some pallets to build the shed on..
